Huntsville Alabama Doctor’s Office Design

Though most of our projects take us into to our clients’ homes, we do have the opportunity of designing commercial spaces for local businesses and the community. Our next project allowed us to create a Huntsville Alabama Doctor’s Office Design for Huntsville Pediatric Associates. Huntsville Pediatrics has served the Huntsville community for 55 years and stays busy serving up to 250 patients a day. Their previous design was dated and didn’t emphasize the personalized care that the doctors and nurses of Huntsville Pediatrics provide.

At Accents of the South, this Huntsville Alabama Doctor’s Office design began with the carpet. Being that was the most prominent element in the space, we wanted to find something that was fun yet sophisticated. We chose a carpet tile that was a simple, linear pattern with a blend of blue, pink, green and yellow as accents colors. These colors were our take on the primary colors, just not as saturated.  To emphasize the subtle color in the carpet tiles, we added solid accent tiles for a way-finding tool. This helped break-up the long corridors and led you on a path to the exam rooms and nurses stations.

In order to unify and simplify the spaces, we chose a soft grey color for the walls and trim throughout. Picking up on those same vibrant colors in the carpet we added accent walls in the reception areas and patient rooms, along with the exam room and bathrooms doors.
